The
San Juan Islands are a group of 172 islands approximately 90 miles North-Northwest of Seattle, in the Strait of Juan De Fuca, between the US and Canada. Accessible only by sea or air, the 4 main islands, San Juan, Orcas, Lopez and
Shaw, are served by passenger/vehicle ferries.

Getting There
In order to get to the San Juans, you'll need to get to the Anacortes ferry terminal.
Here's a Map to Anacortes. In the "Get Directions" box, just below the map, enter your
current location and hit the button for driving directions.
Once in Anacortes, simply stay on WA-20 Spur West, which will take you to the ferries.
Ferries - Scheduling Your Tour
You will need to plan your trip around the Ferry Schedules - as they are your most likely option for inter-island travel. There are numerous inter-island ferries running throughout
the day, however lines may be long during peak seasons (noteably summer), so keep this in mind - and it is always recommended to arrive 20 minutes prior to all ferry loading
