I had the best dream…
So here I am arriving at my hotel with my friends.
Our luggage is taken from us by a bunch of guys in white uniforms and packing it into large cages. One of my friends said not to worry my luggage will show up in my room in a couple of hours. We register at the desk and I put down a credit card for incidentals and was handed a room key, which I've been told will act as my charge card during my stay here.
We leave the registration desk and go up this long walkway to the lobby of the hotel.
The lobby is this beautiful 12 story atrium with glass elevators and a half circle bar. Someone is there to greet me and hands me a map of the hotel and invites me to help myself to a buffet lunch that is being served on one of the higher levels. (Ok, I am liking this dream so far.)

We decided to go to our rooms first and freshen up a bit before lunch. I find my floor and room number and open the door. I unpack and put everything in it's place since I will be here for the next seven days.
Nice room so far. Smaller than some hotel rooms I've had before but this is quite nice. I have a TV, mini
bar, safe, phone, special robes, desk and chair, lots of mirrors, sliding glass doors?
That must lead to something right? Sure enough I open the doors and onto a private balcony and wow what a view. I'm looking right at the ocean! I'm already feeling better. I could just hang out here for awhile and de-stress. But I need to explore some more of my new surroundings.

So off I go to see what this hotel, my friends talk about so much, has to offer. There's a top level that has a
panoramic view. One side I can see the city skyline and the other side nothing but ocean.
Down a level is this huge pool with water slide, lots of tables and chairs and an outdoor grill. Wow I can smell the food already. Up another level and there is this beautiful SPA. I see that they are offering tours of the SPA but I still want to explore.

I head down a few levels back to the main thoroughfare and low and behold I thought I landed in Las Vegas. I've never seen so many slot machines and card tables in one spot before. What a "FUN" time I'm going to have in that casino!

Just off from the casino I see a show lounge. Again I am amazed. This show lounge is three levels high. Looks like tomorrow night there is going to be a Broadway show here. This I gotta see!

I continue my explorations all around my hotel and I'm pleasantly surprised at all that I am finding. It's a big place but easy to get around. There are areas for the kids. Ping pong tables, shuffle board, volleyball nets, basketball hoops, running track, video game room, gift shops, sundry shop, oodles of bars and 2 dining rooms, not to mention the huge buffet area where I've missed lunch at this point because I've been out exploring!
I meet up with my friends finally and they told me not to worry about missing lunch just order room service or visit the 24 hour pizza place. (Again, I'm really liking this dream.)
So after a few cocktails we are off to dinner. You should see this dining room!

Beautiful! From the table settings to the napkins to the wait staff, this is going to do just fine. Ordering was my favorite part. We are having Lobster or Prime Rib as an entrée'. I can't decide which one to get. My friends are telling me to order one of each. I can't afford that I said. Then I'm told it's all included with my hotel stay. (This dream keeps getting better and better!) After a wonderful almost 2 hour dinner complete with choice of soup, salad, appetizers, entrée's and then dessert (which is a story unto itself), we retire to the show lounge where there is a comedian doing stand up.
It's getting late and I think I should retire for the evening. Tomorrow is another day. I'm sure I will find more to explore again. Now it must be my imagination but I was sure I felt like I was being rocked to sleep. I haven't had that feeling for, well never mind. I wake up in the morning and realized I haven't slept like that in a very long time. I think coffee and danish are in order. Room service, which is also included with my hotel stay, brings me a full plate of breakfast goodies and a large pot of coffee. I think I'll go out on my balcony and have my coffee. Wow! The ocean again. I never get tired of seeing it. It seems different today though. Maybe a deeper blue? The longer I stare at it I feel like I'm moving. Weird huh?
