Day Trips From Seattle To Canada
A day trip from Seattle to Canada can be a fun experience for the whole family. Vancouver, BC is a busy, bustling, vibrant metropolis. Victoria, although a modern city, is at times quaint, and reminiscent of Victorian England. Both cities are fascinating to explore, and definately worth many a visit. With the US dollar at a premium, you will likely find some good bargains too. Remember though, Canada is a foreign country, so remember to bring a Passport (a good idea) or other photo ID.

Ferries - Getting to Victoria, on Vancouver Island, is a journey in itself. Ferries are, by far, the most common and popular way to get there. They are mini-cruises in their own right. The Washington State Ferries are the longest trip, cruising through the scenic San Juan Islands. The BC Ferries are more direct, but still a fun cruise. The Black Ball is a straight North/South shot across the Strait of Juan de Fuca, but can be more adventurous if you enjoy the frequently strong wind and waves that run there.
